I've coached baseball at Eastgate Sports Club since 2000. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Kumar
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Kumar: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
