Kshitija B. Deshmukh
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Since 1989
- English, Spanish
I've worked in blacksmithing since 1989. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,810 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Kshitija: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
