I've been a nurse for 18 years, most of them in palliative care at Warsaw Children's Hospital in Warsaw. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm still learning every day.
