Kristine H. Mercado
Tabla player and teacher in Makati
- 🇵🇭 Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Makati Choir
- Since 1979
- English, Filipino
I play tabla and sitar. I started in 1979 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Kristine: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
