Krishnan R. Bhat
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India
- Tiruchirappalli Trades Guild
- Since 1980
- English, Kannada
My trade is tiling. I opened my own shop in 1980 in Tiruchirappalli and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 11 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Krishnan
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Krishnan: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
