Krishna Ramesh Bhattarai
Youth swimming coach and mentor
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- Kathmandu Swimming Club
- 1983 to 2006
- English, French
I coached swimming at Kathmandu Swimming Club from 1983 to 2006. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you played for me, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.

What gifts mean to Krishna: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
