Kouki Shinji Ueda

Chaplain and community helper

  • 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
  • Shinjuku Congregation
  • 2014 to 2022
  • Japanese, English
I've served Shinjuku Congregation in Shinjuku from 2014 to 2022. My days are mostly visiting, listening and helping people carry things, sometimes literally. We run a weekly meal that everyone's welcome at, whatever they believe. I try to remember everyone's name. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
