I've coached badminton at Coimbatore Athletic Club since 1992. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Komal
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Komal: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
