I taught special education at Starlight Public School in Thane from 2008 to 2022. Most days I taught first-year students, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Komal
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
