Youth rowing coach and mentor

- 1984 to 1997

I coached rowing at Liverpool Heritage Youth Club from 1984 to 1997. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Komal
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Komal: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
