I've coached basketball at Accra Stonebridge Swimming Club since 1994. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Kofi
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
