Kofi Lawrence Quartey
Painter, potter and teacher at Old Accra Studio
- 🇬🇭 Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana
- Old Accra Studio
- 1978 to 1997
- English, Twi
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 1978 at Old Accra Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I never rush a conversation. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Kofi
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Kofi: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
