Koen Johan Dijkstra
Music and economics teacher, Amsterdam
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Good Shepherd Middle School
- 1994 to 2019

Good Shepherd Middle School was my second home. I taught music there from 1994 to 2019, mostly primary school children.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Koen
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Koen: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me music in 1996 at Good Shepherd Middle School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam

You taught me music in 2023 at Good Shepherd Middle School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
