I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 47 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 2,770 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Kiran
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Kiran: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
