I teach geography at Jacaranda High School in Pune since 1999. Most days I teach primary school children, and I never raise my voice.
Over the years I've had 620 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Kiran
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Kiran: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
