I've worked in plumbing from 1981 to 2013. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,410 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
