For 19 years I was the social studies teacher at Eastgate Middle School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 700 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Kiptoo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
