Kiprop Macharia Kigozi
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Likoni, Mombasa, Kenya
- The Maple Ridge Workshop
- Since 1994
- English
My trade is carpentry. I opened my own shop in 1994 in Likoni and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Kiprop: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
