Kipchoge Wafula Opio
Boxing coach, Kakamega Highland Swimming Club
- 🇰🇪 Kakamega, Kakamega, Kenya
- Kakamega Highland Swimming Club
- 1998 to 2008
- English, Swahili
For ten years I ran the boxing program at Kakamega Highland Swimming Club in Kakamega. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Kipchoge
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Kipchoge: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
