Kipchoge Victor Bakari
Sculpture and jewelry artist
- 🇰🇪 Kikuyu, Kiambu, Kenya
- Kikuyu Pottery
- Since 2003
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 2003 at Kikuyu Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the people on my bus route. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Kipchoge
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Kipchoge: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
