Kipchoge Simiyu Njoroge
Helping people break into engineering
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Beacon Association
- Since 2016
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 590 people through Beacon Association.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I make terrible puns.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Kipchoge
If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Kipchoge: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
