Kipchoge Ouma Maina
Religious studies and geography teacher, Jinja
- 🇺🇬 Jinja, Eastern Region, Uganda
- Orchid Primary School
- 2013 to 2025
- English, Swahili
Orchid Primary School was my second home. I taught religious studies there from 2013 to 2025, mostly the youngest children.
Over the years I had 300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Kipchoge
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Kipchoge: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
