Kipchoge Opio Hamisi
Self-taught mural painting artist
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- 2006 to 2018
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 2006 at Nairobi Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the people on my bus route. I make terrible puns.
More about Kipchoge
I've had 14 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

I bought one of your pieces in 2025. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Zaporizhzhia.
