Kioko Waweru Rashidi

Volunteer mentor with Rosewood Community Trust

🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
1987 to 2013
English

For 26 years I've mentored people in public speaking and entrepreneurship. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening. I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I'm always reading two books at once. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Kioko

Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

Areas of mentoring

Public speaking

What gifts mean to Kioko: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
