Kioko Kamau Wekesa
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇿 Zanzibar City, Zanzibar Urban/West, Tanzania
- Since 2008
- English
I'm a welding specialist. If you live around Zanzibar City, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Kioko: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
