I've spent 48 years as a lecturer in economics at Dar es Salaam State University in Dar es Salaam. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a farmhand and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
What gifts mean to Kioko: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
