I taught French at Sydney Grammar School in Sydney from 1997 to 2008. Most days I taught Year 10, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 430 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
