Kimani Kiprop Kiptoo

24 years teaching Spanish in Fort Portal

  • 🇺🇬 Fort Portal, Western Region, Uganda
  • Fort Portal Technical College
  • Since 1982
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Kimani

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
