I've coached baseball at Eldoret Football Club since 1982. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Kimani
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Kimani: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
