Kimani Hamisi Barasa
Painter, potter and teacher at Kasarani Pottery
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Pottery
- Since 1993
- English
I work mostly in graphic design, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 1993 at Kasarani Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Kimani
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
