Kimani Byaruhanga Odhiambo
Youth basketball coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Harmony Swimming Club
- Since 2002
- English, Swahili
For 24 years I've run the basketball program at Harmony Swimming Club in Kasarani. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Kimani
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

you coached me in 2019. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Ikeja.
