Kimani Brian Tembo
Local plumbing and upholstery
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- 1997 to 2007
- English, Swahili
I've worked in plumbing from 1997 to 2007. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 370 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Kimani
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Kimani: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
