Kimani Bakari Mwesigwa
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Embakasi Athletic Club
- Since 1978
- English, French
I've coached chess at Embakasi Athletic Club since 1978. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
What gifts mean to Kimani: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.

You coached me in 2003. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Ciudad de México.
