I've been a nurse for eight years, most of them in mental health at Kilimanjaro Community Hospital in Hồ Chí Minh City. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
