I taught economics at Cầu Giấy Technical College in Cầu Giấy from 1981 to 1995. Most days I taught Year 10, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 490 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Kiên
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Kiên: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
