I taught drama at Orchid Secondary School in Adama from 1988 to 2002. Most days I taught Year 10, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Kidist
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Kidist: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
