Kidist Fikir Abate
Volunteer mentor with Holy Cross Community Trust
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Holy Cross Community Trust
- 1990 to 2016
- English
For 26 years I've mentored people in first-generation students and design. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I garden badly but happily.
More about Kidist
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
