Kidist Bezawit Alemu
Choir direction and tabla teacher
- 🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Elmwood Choir
- Since 1981
- English, Amharic
I play choir direction and tabla. I started in 1981 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
