Kiara D. Sethi

Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇮🇳 Udaipur, Rajasthan, India
  • Sunrise Repairs
  • Since 2009
  • English, Hindi
I've worked in thatching since 2009. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 600 apprentices. The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 19 years later for another job.

What gifts mean to Kiara: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
