Ki-tae Jae-won Shim
Painter, potter and teacher at Old Silverlake Pottery
- 🇰🇷 Seoul, Seoul, South Korea
- Old Silverlake Pottery
- 1981 to 1991
- Korean
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes street art. My first show was in 1981 at Old Silverlake Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Silverlake Pottery, which keeps me honest.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
