I've spent 31 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Syracuse Institute of Technology in Syracuse. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I walk the dog by the river.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Khang: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
