Helping people break into teaching
- 🇵🇰 Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
- Westbrook Community Trust
- 2002 to 2018
- English, Punjabi
For 16 years I've mentored people in teaching and leadership. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I'm learning the guitar.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Khalid
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Khalid: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
