Khalid Saad Awan
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇰 Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan
- Gateway Repairs
- Since 1996
- English
My trade is plumbing. I opened my own shop in 1996 in Rawalpindi and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Khalid
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Khalid: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
