I farm potatoes near Hyderabad. The land was my family's before me and I hope it will be someone's after me.
I teach local school groups about where food comes from. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
What gifts mean to Khalid: I'd put gifts toward a small storage shed.

You helped us when our harvest failed in 1992. Greetings from Varanasi.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
