Khadija Salma Bakr
Coached cricket for 37 years in Aswan
- 🇪🇬 Aswan, Aswan, Egypt
- Bamboo Community Club
- 1984 to 2021
- English
I coached cricket at Bamboo Community Club from 1984 to 2021. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.

If you played for me, you probably remember the rainy sports day.
