Khadija Rania Darwish
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇬 6th of October City, Giza, Egypt
- Jacaranda Works
- Since 2001
- English, Arabic
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 2001 in 6th of October City and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
More about Khadija
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Khadija: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
