For 17 years I ran the athletics program at Benin City Football Club in Benin City. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
What gifts mean to Khadija: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

you coached me in 2011. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Nagpur.
