Khadija Iman Benali

Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇪🇬 Alexandria, Alexandria, Egypt
  • Brookfield Workshop
  • Since 1983
  • English
I've worked in bicycle repair since 1983. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,680 apprentices. I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

More about Khadija

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
