Khadija Efe Aliyu
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Bonny, Rivers, Nigeria
- Bonny Trades Guild
- Since 1986
- English, Yoruba
I'm a thatching specialist. If you live around Bonny, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 11 years later for another job.
More about Khadija
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Khadija: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
