Shoemaking, done properly

  • 🇬🇭 Tarkwa, Western, Ghana

My trade is shoemaking. I opened my own shop in 1993 in Tarkwa and I'm still there most mornings. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Kezia: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
